Measuring approx 28cm x 19.5cm making it an excellent size for sitting on your lap doing EPP.
The boards are covered in a high quality, fine grit Sandpaper that will assist you in gripping and holding your fabric in one place whilst you trace around your various EPP and applique templates and shapes.
Once considered a luxury item, once you start using one, if you're anything like me, you'll consider it a must for all your epp and hand piecing templates... as well as general patchwork tasks such as drawing your diagonal lines on the back of your patchwork squares - for flying geese, patchwork etc. They are excellent for helping with accuracy for all these tasks and more.
The reverse side of the board is excellent for leaning on to do your fabric glueing, drawing etc... and for sitting in the evening with your 'mindless TV' in the background ...and just enjoy sitting with the board on your lap whilst it aids you to do all your applique and epp.
This is a great tool for all EPP, Hand Piecing and Applique enthusiasts. I wouldn't be without mine now!!!
