This listing is for the beautiful Ladies Laura Jacket.
You can make a statement with this quilted jacket by making it up in your favourite fabric collection or alternatively, it could look just as good made up from beautiful fabrics in your stash!!
The Pattern also includes instructions for using a ready-made quilt that you may already have at home, with instructions given to make-up the jacket quite quickly with a beautiful pre-made quilt too. So many options to make it uniquely your own!
You can even customise your jacket for mid-season or winter warmth by simply choosing your preferred batting you'd like to use in it. (A lovely soft, thin Bamboo batting is perfect for giving a lighter, mid-season jacket with lovely drape,... or switch to cotton or wool for ultimate warmth on the coolest of days.) There's also options given for including inside & outside pockets if you'd like.
(Or for those in our warmer tropical area's in Queensland etc, I now have ladies choosing to make it up with a stabiliser - instead of the batting, to make it perfect for all longer-term wear too). A great idea if you'd like to extend its use!!
