This Fusible Pellon is a terrific product to use when you are wanting more 'form' and stability behind your patchwork items.

It is available in two different 'strengths & thicknesses' that I recommend you use as follows...

H630- This is the Thinner of the 2 Iron on Pellon Products.

I personally recommend use of this one behind your tablerunners and mug rugs etc.  (Ie. Where you don't want too much 'puffy height' in your product... so teacups don't fall over on mug rugs etc). This will give just enough stabiliser to your tablerunners - but still allow them to sit lovely and flat on the table surface.

The next one is

H640- This is the THICKER of the 2 Iron-On Fusible Pellons.

I personally recommend the use of this one behind all your items where you want that slightly THICKER level of stability.

This one is great for using on Wall hangings (so the corners don't get 'dog ears' and 'flop' over..), great behind your patchwork bags where you'd like that medium level of stabiliser etc.

*I have many class samples available to view- to see exactly what level of stabiliser you'd like to use behind your chosen products.

**Please note if you are wanting an even firmer level of stability... ie. So the bag actually 'stands up' (and stays up) by itsef, then you may prefer to use the 2 great FUSIBLE FOAM products that I have available instead. They have an even stronger "stand up" ability, and will generally retain a strong stand-up-ability all the time.

They give the strongest level of all... & again,  I have made-up samples available to see the differences,  and what they do & how they perform.

***Regardless of which of these products you choose to use,  I highly recommend you have your Iron set on a high cotton heat setting,  with the tank FULL of water,  & with the setting on high steam.

Ie...You NEED the heat AND THE STEAM to melt the fusible (glue) product,  for it to stick well to the back of your chosen fabric/product. If you don't use high steam heat, it won't fully melt and adhere properly to the back of your product... and may come away later on. *Once your ironed product has cooled down,... you can easily check your corners etc to make sure it has all stuck on well. (If not, simply fill the tank with water again and heat and repeat. Remember,  you need the high steam heat to melt the soluble adhesive - to bond the 2 products together).

My TIPS for general use-

(Please note these TIPS are given in good faith,  based on my personal 20 odd years of using the different products that I use & recommend. I provide these tips in good faith,  but will not be held responsible for any individuals different use of the products. If you are unsure about anything,  please feel free to ask... or you can always refer to manufacturers instructions too).

I provide the following tips to try and assist you...

*Never Iron directly on the Pellons

*Always have the wrong side of your fabric (ie the back side of your fabric) facing right sides together with the 'sandy' (back-side) ie Fusible side of your Pellon. So the 'glue' sticks to the BACK of your product. (So it's wrong sides together/ backs together... then the 'glue' melted and bonds the back of your fabric to the back of your Pellon). Don't iron on the actual pellon!!

Iron with the high steam setting, having the Iron on your FABRIC... not directly on the Pellon.

Continue to move your iron around so that it doesn't scorch sitting too long in the one place.

You'll be able to tell if it has stuck to your fabric correctly... when it cools down. IF the fabric hasn't stick in the corners etc... just high steam it again (so the glue melts properly).

Please be sure to have the 'grainy/ sticky side' of the adhesive product facing to the BACK of your fabric.

Do not have the adhesive product sticking out beyond your fabric - or it will melt and leave a sticky residue (usually burnt black on your iron, ironing board etc 🙃🙂🙃...NOT what you want to happen). Always make sure it is cut slightly less than the fabric etc you are sticking it to - so none sticks out the edges on your iron etc.

Happy creating with these fantastic products. 💕
