Collection: VALDANI Perle Embroidery Threads

In this selection of beautiful Valdani Threads... You'll find a  selection of some of my absolute favourites...

Available here in either Perle 12 or Perle 8 ... or Stranded Threads. 

Each is a gorgeous, rich tone.

* And for those who love 'muted, warm, country tones'... these beautiful threads fit the bill perfectly...♡

* I highly recommend using the beautiful Bohin Crewel Embroidery Needles with these threads...

(I use & recommend a ....

• Size 7 Needle for Perle 8 threads - or 3 stands 
• Size 9 Needle of Perle 12 threads - or 2 strands
• Size 10 Needle for 1 strand. 

However, I have personally found when I stitch with Valdani threads,  the 'twist' of the thread is slightly looser than the other embroidery thread brands that I use... & they have a 'looser' look to them, with a more 'wool' appearance as well... which does fit beautifully with the 'country' look of the colours I have chosen.

* Because of the 'looser twist' mentioned above....You might like to use a Needle that is 1 Size Larger than normally recommended when using 'other' Threads... compared to what I have written above...

Sooo, for Valdani threads.... you MAY want to try a

Size 5 for Perle 8 &

Size 7 for Perle 12 .... etc 

***Ie  Just select a needle 1 size slightly larger... so the thread does not 'drag' or put extra friction on, when pulling it through. ***
