The Blithe Bucket Bag Pattern & Sage Green TILDA Hometown Fabric Packs

The Blithe Bucket Bag is another fantastic pattern by the lovely (and talented) Ali Phillips of Arabesque Scissors, here in Australia. 

The Pattern is beautifully presented in an A5 Booklet format with lots of great directions and accompanying diagrams.  It is a sweet drawstring bag, that may look complicated... but is really easy to construct... with great instructions given. 

It is perfect for holding your current working project, such as your Embroidery, crochet, knitting, epp, hexagon projects etc. 

The FRONT OF THE BAG features an easy Cathedral Window design, with a lovely Needleturn Applique inside it ... OR... do as we have done, and skip the Needleturn Appliqué design part altogether... and feature your favourite fussy-cut fabric in the 'Cathedral Window' section instead... like we have.  

(I have made up 4 gorgeous fabric kit 'colourway' options... to specifically feature the gorgeous Tilda Hometown 'fussy-cut ladies' as we have done in our samples of these bags.

THE BACK OF THE BAG has external pockets, a flap closure and two side pockets for holding all your extra bits & pieces in. 

A VERY pretty & useful drawstring bag with lots of lovely extra features included in this lovely design.

As with all of her patterns, Ali also does some fantastic accompanying VIDEO'S showing tips & tricks to aid with different parts of the construction process. ✔️✔️  The accompanying videos are listed on her Arabesque Scissors YouTube Channel. 

This is a beautiful project bag to be able to gift,  give-away or best of all...  make it & enjoy using it yourself! 

As with anything, I think a large part of a projects success... is all about choosing the right FABULOUS FABRICS... that YOU love!!!...and choosing where to use each of the fabrics in the project.!! Or, you can take all the hard work out of it all... and use the beautiful Sage Green Tilda Hometown fabric pack as we have done. 

The FABRIC PACKS we have chosen for this fussy-cut version...are in the Tilda Hometown (in the Green as per Ali's sample...(with an extra choice of using an ultra luxurious Liberty Tana Lawn in the feature trim parts too)... available in either the pretty pink or light green - as per the photo options shown!  👌

• I also have a limited number of the Magnetic Handbag Snaps (in lovely Antique Brass) for using on the back flap - as per the bags requirements. These provide a lovely, professional magnetic closure for the large flap. ✔️✔️ (Inexpensive, easy to use, packet of 2)...I highly recommend using these lovely closures.

*Please note,... by being supplied with the Tilda Hometown Fat Quarter Bundles,...there are actually 5 Fat Quarters in the full fabric packs... whereas, the pattern only requires the 4 fabrics...so, you can decide IF you'd like to add the extra Fat Quarter into your project too - for a bit of extra added "pop!!" ... Either way,  YOU will have more than enough of these lovely fabrics to use... with some left-over too.👏👏🤗
