The Blissful Pincushion is a Quick & Easy pattern by Anni Downs of Hatched and Patched fame. It has both a pincushion and needlebook instructions included in it.ย
Both projects are created using wool applique and small amounts of embroidery, along with some English Paper Piecing too.

Kit for $36 (includes pattern, fabrics and hand-dyed wools, interfacing, fusible fleece, cord, button and floss).

Anni filled her pincushion with approximately 1 cup of the lovely fine grade walnut shells... which are available seperately on here too.
